Looking to create a study day package? A menu with appetizers, 3 dishes, wines, and water?
All of this with internal price breakdowns that the client shouldn’t see?
Don’t worry, we’ve thought of everything!
To do this, you'll use our "product packages" feature, which allows you to group several products and display only one total price to your customer.
However, the law requires us to show the overall VAT breakdown of the package: For example, if my package is €100 excluding tax, I need to explicitly show that it includes:
→ €80 at xx% VAT
→ €20 at xx% VAT.
Now, here are the steps to create your packages in your product catalog:
1) Go to your settings,
2) Then to the "Products" tab,
3) Next, click "+Add" and then "+Product Package."
4) In the window that appears (see below), enter the name of the package in the "Title us" field and select the products that make up the package from the drop-down list in the "Products" field.
NB: That it is essential to have created all your "simple products" beforehand.
5) Once all the products are entered (as shown below), click "Save."
Your package is now created!
Once your packages are created in your product catalog, you will find them in your offer base, making it easy to create quotes and invoices.
The icon indicated by the red square in the screenshot below shows that it’s a package.
Once the package is selected, all the products it contains will appear in the "Products" tab on the right, as well as in the preview of your quote/invoice on the left.
Note: It is important to know that you will not be able to manually modify the information (title, description, price) of a product included in a package within the offer base. You can only remove a product from the package.
